Fine Art Prints: Unframed

Fine Art Prints: Framed

All pieces are matted with a 2" white mat and finished with a 1.25" solid wood frame. This adds an extra 6.5" to the overall measurements of the piece selected. For example, if you order a framed 8 x 10 fine art print, the finished framed piece will be 14.5" x 16.5" including the mat and frame.

Stretched Canvas Prints: Unframed

The edges of the canvas are either black, white, or image wrapped depending on which best complements the image. Please reach out if you have any specific requests regarding the edge wrapping.

Stretched Canvas Prints: Framed

Floating frames create the illusion of canvas floating inside the picture frame without touching it.

The edges of the canvas are black for walnut and black frames and white for white frames.

Each piece is thoroughly vetted and sizes + crops are thoughtfully considered as to not compromise the composition of each piece.

*Please note that this print is offered in multiple sizes and as a result, there may be slight cropping of the image depending on the size you choose.

We strive to preserve the integrity and composition of the artwork while accommodating different print dimensions. Any necessary cropping will be minimal and will not compromise the overall aesthetic or impact of the design.

About the artist

Édouard Manet (1832-1883) was a pioneering French painter and one of the key figures in the transition from Realism to Impressionism. Born in Paris, he rebelled against traditional academic conventions and sought to capture modern life in his works.

Manet's groundbreaking painting, "Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe" (Luncheon on the Grass), and "Olympia," challenged societal norms and sparked controversy in the art world. His innovative approach to composition, use of bold brushwork, and flattened perspective influenced a generation of artists.

Manet's contribution to the Impressionist movement was significant, paving the way for the artistic revolution that would follow. He remains an enduring and celebrated figure in art history.

For unframed fine art prints sizes 16 x 20 and larger and all framed fine art prints and canvases, please allow up to 12 business days for pieces to be produced and up to 10 business days for standard shipping.

*Unframed fine art print orders that include larger prints (12 x 12 and larger) ship rolled.
